The MasterChef series on FOX has highlighted the nation’s most talented chefs since 2010, and now kids can join in the art of food with two new games from Abacus Brands.

Mealtime turns into game time with the MasterChef Family Cooking Game, recommended for kids ages 7 and up. Priced at $19.99, this culinary-themed board game sets families on a cooking adventure just like the contestants on the show. For years, the chefs on MasterChef have faced difficult challenges such as creating a no-cook dish, a one-pot meal, and making a luxury dish on a budget. We can’t promise the same challenges, but this board game intends to make the whole family face similar surprise twists as they hope to collect points and wait for the judges’ scoreboard.

Priced at $59.99, the Virtual Reality MasterChef Junior is a STEAM-based, cooking activity kit coupled with technology for kids ages 8-13. Using virtual reality, kids can enter the MasterChef Junior kitchen, where they will be greeted by past winners of the show and will learn special skills and popular dishes from contestants. Kids can participate in activities that will introduce them to the art of cooking through age-appropriate recipes. It takes away the pressure of the judges and allows kids to improve their dishes over time and at their own pace. Soon, you could have your own MasterChef Junior right in your own home who is a professional in the kitchen.

These game sets are heading to various retailers, including Target, Amazon, Walgreens, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Best Buy, and more in August.
